This Privacy Policy describes how FlipbookShare ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: When you register, we collect your name and email address.
Content you upload: Files you upload are stored securely on our servers for the purpose of converting and displaying your flipbooks.
Usage data: We track view counts for flipbooks using a privacy-friendly IP hashing system (your IP address is hashed and never stored in plain text). We may also collect referrer URLs and approximate geographic region (country only) for analytics.
Cookies: We use cookies for session management (keeping you logged in) and, if AdSense is enabled, Google may use cookies for advertising purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve our services

- To enforce our Terms of Service
- To show aggregate analytics to flipbook owners (view counts only)
3. Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to operate the service (e.g., hosting providers).
5. Data Retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. Flipbook files and pages are stored until you delete them. Deleted content is permanently removed within 30 days.
6. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Flipbook passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To make a request, contact us at [email protected]. You may also delete your account directly from your account settings.
8. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
